Quality Kidney Care Close to Home — No More Long Drives
For too long, families in Hendry County had to drive 30 miles to Fort Myers or beyond for dialysis care. Not anymore. The Kidney Care Center of LaBelle brings expert, compassionate kidney care right here to downtown LaBelle—where you can walk down oak-lined streets after treatment, where your neighbors know your name, and where you don't have to spend hours on the road just to get the care you need.
We're part of ARC Dialysis, Florida's largest kidney care network with 12 centers statewide. But being part of something bigger doesn't mean we've lost touch with what matters in a small town. As a privately owned, minority-owned company, we understand what it means to build something from the ground up through hard work and dedication. We treat every patient like family—because in a community like LaBelle, that's how neighbors treat neighbors.
Why Hendry County Families Choose Our LaBelle Center

Transportation Assistance
We know that rural living can make transportation challenging, especially for patients who shouldn't drive after treatment. We can help coordinate transportation options:
- Family and neighbor rides — In a close-knit community like ours, many patients arrange rides with family members or neighbors. We're happy to schedule treatments to accommodate your driver's availability.
- Hendry County Transportation — The county offers transportation services for medical appointments. Call Hendry County Transit at (863) 675-0818 to learn about eligibility and scheduling.
- Medicaid transportation — If you have Medicaid, non-emergency medical transportation (NEMT) may be available. Our social services team can help you navigate the options.

At the Kidney Care Center of LaBelle, we provide the full range of dialysis services you'd expect from a major network—right here in your community:

- Home Dialysis Training & Support — For patients interested in peritoneal dialysis or home hemodialysis, we provide comprehensive training and ongoing 24/7 support so you can dialyze at home.
- Hospital Coordination — We work closely with Hendry Regional Medical Center in Clewiston and Lee Health facilities in Fort Myers for seamless care coordination when you need hospital services.
- Vascular Access Management — Regular monitoring and coordination with vascular surgeons to keep your fistula or graft functioning optimally.
- Nutritional Counseling — Dietitian guidance on managing your diet for kidney health, with practical advice that respects our local food traditions.

Why Your Local Dialysis Center Matters
Dialysis is a commitment. For most hemodialysis patients, that means three sessions per week, three to four hours per session. When you're driving 30 or 60 miles round-trip for each treatment, that adds up fast—hours on the road, wear on your vehicle, and time away from family and work. It's exhausting, and it doesn't have to be that way.
The Kidney Care Center of LaBelle means you can get treatment right here in town. You can stop at the Barron Library afterward, grab lunch at a local restaurant, or simply head home without fighting traffic on SR 80. Your care team sees the same faces at the grocery store and the Swamp Cabbage Festival. That connection matters.
We're proud to be part of a community that celebrates its cattle-ranching heritage, its oak-lined streets, and its small-town values. LaBelle has been called "The Belle of the Caloosahatchee" since Captain Francis Hendry named it for his daughters over a century ago. We're honored to serve the families who've carried on that legacy.
Who We Serve & What to Expect
We provide dialysis care for patients with chronic kidney disease (CKD) stages 4-5, end-stage renal disease (ESRD), acute kidney injury (AKI), and those awaiting or recovering from kidney transplant. Whether you're newly diagnosed or looking to transfer your care to a center closer to home, here's your care journey with us:
- Easy Intake — We handle insurance verification, paperwork, and scheduling. Most major insurance accepted including Medicare and Medicaid. Our bilingual staff will walk you through everything.
- Personalized Planning — Your nephrologist and our care team design a treatment plan based on your kidney function, overall health, lifestyle, and work schedule.
- Access Preparation — If you need vascular access, we coordinate with surgeons—often in Fort Myers—to ensure your fistula, graft, or catheter is ready when you need it.
- Comfortable Treatment — Relax in our modern facility while our experienced team provides safe, effective dialysis care. Personal TVs and free WiFi help the time pass.
- Ongoing Support — Regular treatment sessions, monthly lab work, nutritional counseling, and continuous monitoring keep you on track.
- Your Life, Your Community — Our goal is to help you feel your best so you can keep doing what matters—whether that's working the groves, fishing the Caloosahatchee, or watching the rodeo at the Swamp Cabbage Festival.
Part of the LaBelle Community
LaBelle is a special place. It's where sprawling live oaks draped with Spanish moss shade the streets. Where the Caloosahatchee River connects us to Florida's history—from the Calusa people to the cattle drovers to the families who built this county. Where 30,000 people gather every February for the Swamp Cabbage Festival to celebrate our heritage and enjoy hearts of palm, rodeo events, and armadillo races.
At the Kidney Care Center of LaBelle, we're proud to be part of this community. We're here for the rancher managing dialysis while keeping cattle operations running. We're here for the citrus worker who needs treatment that works around harvest season. We're here for the retiree who moved to Hendry County for the quiet life and shouldn't have to drive to the coast for healthcare.
As a minority-owned company, ARC Dialysis understands what it means to serve communities that have often been overlooked. Our founder started on a cleanup crew and built Florida's largest kidney care network through dedication and hard work. That same commitment to service drives everything we do in LaBelle.
LaBelle Celebrates 100 Years: In 2025, the City of LaBelle marks its centennial—100 years since becoming a city in 1925. We're honored to serve this historic community and continue its tradition of neighbors helping neighbors.
