Americare Renal Center brings the resources of Florida's largest kidney care network to one of Miami's most vibrant and historic neighborhoods. Located on SW 37th Avenue near Mercy Hospital, we provide compassionate, high-quality dialysis services to patients in Coconut Grove, Coral Gables, Coral Way, Shenandoah, and surrounding South Miami communities. Whether you've called "The Grove" home for decades or recently moved to this charming bayfront area, our bilingual care team is ready to support your kidney health journey.
As part of ARC Dialysis — a privately owned, minority-owned provider with 12 centers across Florida — we deliver the personalized attention of a neighborhood clinic backed by the clinical expertise of a statewide network. Our Joint Commission-accredited center offers in-center hemodialysis, home dialysis training, and comprehensive kidney care coordination, all with the personal touch that sets us apart from large corporate chains.

Comprehensive Kidney Care Services
Americare Renal Center offers the full range of dialysis and kidney support services you'd expect from a Joint Commission-accredited facility — delivered with the warmth and personal attention of a community-based practice:
- In-center hemodialysis — State-of-the-art equipment, comfortable reclining treatment chairs, and skilled registered nurses and certified technicians monitoring every session.
- Home dialysis education and support — For patients interested in peritoneal dialysis or home hemodialysis, we provide comprehensive training, supplies coordination, and ongoing clinical support.
- Coordination with area hospitals — We work closely with nephrologists and specialists at Mercy Hospital, Baptist Health South Miami, Coral Gables Hospital, and Doctors Hospital to ensure seamless care.
- Nutritional counseling — Our dietitians help you build a kidney-friendly eating plan that works with your lifestyle — including navigating Miami's incredible restaurant scene.
- Social services and care coordination — From Medicare and insurance questions to transportation assistance, our team helps you navigate the system.
- Bilingual support — Our Spanish-speaking staff ensures that language is never a barrier to quality care.
Why Choosing the Right Dialysis Center Matters
When your kidneys can no longer filter waste and balance fluids on their own, dialysis becomes essential. But not all dialysis experiences are the same. In a community known for its quality of life and cultural richness, you deserve kidney care that matches that standard.
Hemodialysis sessions typically last 3 to 4 hours, three times per week. That's a significant commitment — and where you spend that time matters. Americare Renal Center offers comfortable treatment chairs, personal TVs, Wi-Fi, and a calm environment where you can rest, read, or catch up on your favorite shows. Our staff knows your name, remembers your preferences, and notices when something isn't right.
Being in Coconut Grove means you're never far from Biscayne Bay, the art galleries, or your favorite Cuban restaurant. We're here to help you maintain that vibrant Miami lifestyle, even while managing kidney disease.
Who We Serve & What to Expect
Americare Renal Center welcomes patients experiencing:
- Chronic kidney disease (CKD) — Whether you're newly diagnosed or have been managing CKD for years, we provide ongoing care and education.
- End-stage renal disease (ESRD) — When kidney function drops below 15%, dialysis becomes necessary. We're here to make that transition as smooth as possible.
- Acute kidney injury (AKI) — If you've been hospitalized at Mercy, Baptist South Miami, or elsewhere for sudden kidney complications, we provide seamless follow-up care.
- Pre- and post-transplant support — Working toward a kidney transplant? We coordinate your dialysis care before and after surgery.
- Patients transferring from other centers — Moving to Miami or switching providers? We make the transition easy.
What to Expect When You Join Our Care Team:
- Initial consultation and evaluation — We review your medical history, current medications, and lifestyle to build a personalized care plan.
- Coordination with your physicians — If you're coming from another facility or have specialists at area hospitals, we work directly with your care team.
- Vascular access assessment — If you need a fistula, graft, or catheter, we coordinate with vascular surgeons throughout South Florida.
- Your first treatment — Our team walks you through every step, answers all your questions, and makes sure you feel comfortable and informed.
- Ongoing monitoring — Regular lab work, blood pressure checks, and nutritional assessments keep your treatment on track.
- Continuous support — From social workers to dietitians to our nursing staff, you'll have a full team behind you.
Our Promise to You
At Americare Renal Center, we believe in more than just filtering blood. We believe in treating the whole person — body, mind, and spirit. In a neighborhood where people value community, culture, and connection, we're committed to helping you maintain that quality of life, even while managing kidney disease.
As part of Florida's largest kidney care network, we bring you the best of both worlds: the resources and expertise of a statewide organization, with the personal care and community focus of a neighborhood practice. Our minority-owned, privately held company was built on the belief that dialysis patients deserve better — more flexibility, more respect, and more humanity in their care.
Live your life, not your dialysis schedule. That's not just a slogan — it's our commitment to you.
