Why Your Dialysis Center Matters
Your kidneys work around the clock to filter waste, balance fluids, and regulate blood pressure. When chronic kidney disease progresses to end-stage renal disease (ESRD), hemodialysis takes over these essential functions—typically three sessions per week, three to four hours each session. That's a significant commitment, which is why choosing the right dialysis center matters so much.
At Apollo Renal Center, we believe dialysis should fit into your life, not the other way around. Our Health District location means you can combine treatment with appointments at Jackson, UM specialists, or other medical providers in the area. Our bilingual staff ensures nothing gets lost in translation. And our flexible scheduling helps working patients maintain their careers and independence.
Who We Serve & What to Expect
We provide dialysis care for patients with chronic kidney disease (CKD) stages 4-5, end-stage renal disease (ESRD), acute kidney injury (AKI), and those awaiting or recovering from kidney transplant. Whether you're newly diagnosed or transferring from another center, here's what your care journey looks like with us:
- Initial Consultation — We'll review your medical history, discuss your treatment options, and answer every question you and your family have about dialysis.
- Care Planning — Your nephrologist and our clinical team design a personalized treatment plan based on your kidney function, lifestyle, and health goals.
- Access Preparation — If you need vascular access created, we coordinate with Health District vascular surgeons to ensure your fistula, graft, or catheter is ready when you are.
- First Treatment — Our nurses guide you through your first dialysis session step by step, monitoring your comfort and response throughout.
- Ongoing Care — Regular treatment sessions, monthly lab work, and continuous support from our care team to optimize your health and quality of life.
- Life Integration — We work with you to schedule treatments around work, family, and the things that matter most to you.
Our Promise to You
At Apollo Renal Center, you're not just another patient in a chair—you're a neighbor, a friend, a member of our community. We opened our doors in Miami's Health District because we believe everyone deserves access to compassionate kidney care, regardless of where they live or what language they speak at home.
As a privately owned, minority-owned company, ARC Dialysis operates differently than the large corporate chains. Our CEO started with this company on the cleanup crew and worked his way up—he understands what it means to serve with humility and heart. That spirit flows through everything we do at Apollo Renal Center, from the way our nurses greet you to the way our schedulers work around your life.
If you or someone you love is facing kidney disease, we invite you to visit us, meet our team, and see why thousands of Floridians trust ARC Dialysis with their care. Se habla español.
